If you’re like most of my clients, the reason why you have a website is because you want visitors. But once you have them, you need to give them a reason to keep coming back.
One way to accomplish that is by adding a blog to your site.
Now, before you say, “Donna, I’m NOT a writer”, consider this: a “blog” doesn’t have to be a written post.
It can actually take many forms. While a written post is most common, a video blog (also known as a “vlog”) or even an embedded Facebook live can be a blog.
For some people, doing a quick video is easier (and even less stressful!) than sitting at a blank computer screen, trying to come up with the right words to say.
If that’s you, great! Do a Facebook Live or even record a quick video using your phone. Just add a few sentences to the post, explaining what the video is about, embed the video, and you’re done! Easy peasy!
That’s what most of my blog posts are like here at MavroCreative.
The primary goal is to have someplace on your website where you have new content that’s added on a regular basis.
The good news is that it is amazingly simple to add a blog to your WordPress website.
And because I love to give you hands-on, “show me exactly how to do this” kinda stuff, in the video below I walk you through the steps and show you how easy it is!
Watch it below!
Already have a blog on your website! Bonus points for you!! Check it out because I also give you some great tips for how to make it easy for your visitors to share that amazing content you’ve created!
Until next time!
xoxo,
Thanks Donna! Great content.
Thanks, Diane! I’m glad it was helpful!
